lost because disconnected

Hi,

I was playing a game and there was huge lag as usual these times, but to an extent it looks I was disconnected. After several refresh it came back to see I lost but I hadnt done my move and still plenty of time, mentioning I left the game which is wrong.

I had several times encountered the problem of losing a network connection and not able to get it re-established and then getting the warning of not leaving the game because it took me too long get back - but I have a few suggestions; Before you play online, of course check for malware and delete unnecessary or not needed processes that use up memory and CPU from task manager or activity monitor; I don't know which browser you are using, but clearing the cache (at least for the day - or if available for a week or two) may help - same with clearing the offsite data and the cookies for the day. I play Lichess.org using https over secure connection too. I just noticed too that t3m2 posted about lichess.org/lag which I haven't seen before and also from the FAQ which look like are good resources too.

yeah I have a good connection and bandwidth. use different browsers but here was Chrome but, I noticed the network spike with any. network ping can go from 25 ms to 3000ms, a bit strange. Anyways I guess I ll clear cache more often.

It sounds to me Lichess servers/networks may have some probs coping with big scaling/use. maybe some more servers to put in or load balancers tuning/scaling.
