to resign needs approval??

How does it it make sense, that it seems you can't resign anymore, but first you have to ask the other player?

You don't have to ask the other player, you just have to click an additional time to confirm that you want to resign.

I agree that the new resign confirmation dialogue is really super confusing. I think it should be reverted.

I don't like it either but it has already been discussed on this forum and the answer is, it's not changing. (I'm not a mod or anyone in a position to do anything, by the way, just repeating what was said before about it.)

Yes great feature! Ask your opponent if he allows you to resign. That's because some players don't like this. You steal them the chance of complete humiliation. They want to make 5 queens, chase your king around for 49 moves, make a small pawn move and repeat the whole process. But there is a very strong weapon against them, just don't move anymore! For me it doesn't work well, because I'm always on increment early on. But when you have 5 minutes on the clock ... they will hate it and next time they will allow you to resign, try it!
