Need help logging in (password not working)

Hello

I am unable to login via website on my laptop. My password is not working.

I am currently logged in on both the android app and website on my phone and both function fine.

My account is an older account (created in 2015) and I think at this time emails might not have been mandatory so I can't use password reset.

I saw the blog post from earlier this month saying certain account pw had been expired for security reasons. I'm assuming this is what happened to mine

I have tried the following
Using the cached password from Firefox. This is also the password I remember using. This does not work

Changing/adding an email via lichess.org/account/email however this doesn't work because it requires the current password

Adding 2FA however this doesn't work because it requires the current password

Created a personal access token and used the API/account/email endpoint to see if perhaps I used a different email. It returns nothing. I can get game stats and other info successfully

Can someone please help me either add an email or with a password reset?

Where did you try using it and what does "not work" mean? I believe it will tell you, if it's blocked due to weak password. At least on login pages (would not log out to try that ofc. So use a different browser or something if you try that)

Otherwise, the best approach is probably to email lichess lichess.org/contact#help-contact-other

I'm with the same problem, my account is from 2014, I think. I just can use here from a computer where my account is logged. But I can't change my password and the reset password never gets to my original email. I had another account with the same email, but I delete it. Please, I need the same help, I've send a email to Lichess yeasterday.

Hello.
I took the password from my android Firefox browser. I use this for puzzle storm etc since those are not on the app. (Also where I am posting from)

While in the android browser I attempted to use this password to perform password change email change etc. All were denied with incorrect password.

Unfortunately I don't get an expired pw message just incorrect password.

I then attempted to use it to login via web browser on a different laptop to no luck.
