I blundered a queen and two rooks consecutively by mistake in one move during my first tournament game against the second prettiest girl I ever seen play chess. :( I cried afterwards and still am sobbing up my tears from my cold wet face.
You should have asked for her number after... make her think it was deliberate, ya know?
In my early years, I once tried to sleep in a van while playing a week long 9 round tournament to save on hotel fees. 4 losses, 1 draw, quit the tournament to go watch fireworks and hit the beach. Bad sleep is a chess mistake.
