My theory is to never resign because there is always the canhce you will flag your oponent or he will blunder
Even if you lost a queen or something of that sort don't resign finish the game. He might blunder or miss a tactic

If you would have plyed for a draw your king would have never left e5. And in that case you would half half a point more than no.
True,Draw Is a losing point where you start to loose saying (it’s ok !) . My slogan is Push yourself to your limits

It is in my experience that if the position is a dead draw, you are the one that has to take the chances, and most of the times it actually backfires.
I play to score. If the win is out of reach, im still scoring. When you play more tournaments, you will understand that possibly losing half a point is quite better than losing an entire point.
