Back to V1

Everything seems to be the same for me @timschnittke . So I don't know. The font for the words might be a little bigger, but I can't tell the difference. And the board did look bigger, but from the looks you can literally resize it on the fly. I should test that now.
Mine looks completely different. The time clocks, for example, are obnoxiously large.
Yes exactly! the chat window, clocks,notation box all of them designed for Godzilla it covers all over the screen, resizing board make things worse because clocks become bigger than the board!

I play only on pc so actually it's frustrating to play chess on a platform from pc that only designed for mobile!
NO! These people dont know what their talking about this new layout is a huge improvement over version 1. Version 1 was awful it seemed like everything way randomly shoved together. Version 1 you could tell some inexperienced web designer threw that together but this was done by someone who knew what they were doing. Sure maybe it could use a few tweaks like making the game clock a bit smaller. Overall the new design looks very smooth and very well done - so thank you lichess devs for your work in improving the visual aspect of the site.
I cannot see the entire board, it is too big and I am using my tab.
I have clicked on my user name, selected board geometry, brought it down to 50% yet it remains the same size. Now as I click on my name I do not even get that option.
I cannot see the entire board, neither can I write a message to my opponents
@Andromeda3 I understand v2 works better for you, but it does not mean that it works better for anyone. If you like it I'm happy for you. It doesn't work for me and implying that I don't know what I am talking about is simply rude.

I'm not here to complain, but rather do something with it. It's not that I don't like the new site. It's ok, not a disaster. But has major flaws which I believe won't be changed by the author. And I'm fine with it. That's why I'm asking for feedback on another version of lichess elsewhere.

@MeWantCookieMobile

"Font weights? I am a nurse, and I am pretty decent with computers. Both of these could make sense with examples. Got any?"

I cannot upload images here, but basically, every single element on the site, including typography, buttons, player names, texts all over the site was made with a font weight smaller than before (mean thinner). Hence I'm unable to read most of it after a while. Sorry, this is how it is.

@ninguno Thanks for your offer, I appreciate any help. Yes. I'm serious. I'm also a developer with 10 years of experience. I know a bit of Scala, I'm strong in Java and master in JavaScript (and TypeScript), so I should be able to handle it. Just need to know if it makes any sense.

@self_service I'll update all of you for sure if it will eventually become reality.
