That‘s right. In CHESS noone stands a chance. It must be something different then when noobs can beat the Wch. q.e.d.
If you are the world champion, coming up with a new account with a provisional rating of 1500, can't this be assimilated to sandbagging?
In some cases the clock ticks differently. There’s the Wch, there’s money.
@polylogarithmique
Magnus actually always started with his accounts on 2500 provisional, not 1500 :P

No no no, damnsaltythatsport was 1500.
Edit:
Hmm I just checked and it seems you're right. Strange because I'm pretty sure before the arena started I saw him last with a provisional 1500...

As I said before, only ONE 1 0 super tourn that i know in the world and thats too much to ask?. What are your opinions?.
Let me take this opportunity to hijack the time control discussion by proposing again to introduce +¼ sec/move, which would lead to radically different final gameplay while not particularly slowing down anything.
1+0 doesn't prevent cheating, but makes cheating a bit harder to get away with.
in 3+2 or 3+0 Magnus wouldn't have a problem to beat everyone here with a bit of effort, he is +2900 elo in blitz guys...
So 1+0 is fun and gives better chances to win for everyone ;)

bullet is not chess they should 3+0
if it gives better chances to others to win it should be about lag and luck and mouse speed not skills.but yeah i can guess there are some titled players who will cheat in 3+2...
