*LICHESS PROBLEMS*

I've had problems getting onto lichess for the last half hour, and it keeps disappearing on me.

There's been the 'down for maintenance' message, re-connection ones (which aren't down to my internet, which is running other things fine), and other messages including:

I'm getting this too... maybe there is an update or just routine maintenance, but no, it's not just you or a problem at your end - and now I see it's not just a problem at mine either.

Same thing here ... and I lost a draw and a winning game due to this problem : I played my move but the clock was going down to 0, then I had the maintenance message (twice) :( lost more than 25 pts in blitz because of that problem ;(

Yes, the main server is running hot when there are more than 6000 players online. A crash may depend on what and how much everyone is doing. These issues are prioritized, it needs to be fixed soon because lichess is growing rapidly =D.

Updates/maintenance doesn't happen at peak times, they are mostly very swift nowadays and happens when the least amount of players is online (around 2000). Sorry for your ratings, but they will self adjust over time so try to not think about it too much.
